Ahmed Hassan Al Marhoon & Bros Ready-mix is located in Ras Tanurah Industrial Area. Departments such as Management, Personnel, Sales, QA/QC & Operations are located in same place whereas workshop & stores are located in Um Al Sahik.

It is strategically located in Rahima (industrial area), catering for the supply of ARAMCO, SCECO, Port, Local requirements Of Ras Tanurah and within a 60 km radius.





There are two batching plants capable of producing 180m³ per hour of ready mixed concrete and one plant is under construction with capacity of 140 m³/hour.


The main batch plant producing for the ARAMCO sector is a 120 cubic meter per hour capacity batching and mixing plant, generally comprising: four compartment aggregate storage bin, radial free conveyer, ground loading hooper, high speed pan mixer complete of 3 m³ capacity with two discharge doors (wet and dry) .And the secondary manual plant has the capacity of 60 cubic meter per hour production.

One main batch plant is equipped with command alkon (fully automatic) computer automation system with independent display of weight scales calibrated by ARAMCO Certified agency. And the other plant is manual (mechanical) which is also certified by ARAMCO approved calibrating agency.





Our  plant is equipped with own ice plant(Snow Key) , with production capacity of 25 Tons/day and equipped with a separate 30,000 kg capacity ice storage container.

Water Chilling Plant

Along with ice plant (Snow Key), our ready mix is also equipped with one water chiller which is capable of cooling from 60° C 120000 liters feed water to a final temperature of 0.5° C per day.

Aggregate Washing Plant

There is one aggregate washing plant with a production capacity of 30m³/hour. Aggregates are washed with water having a TDS of 1800-2000 ppm which is checked daily by our Q/C technicians prior to production consumption.

To meet the required concrete temperature of fresh concrete during ‘Hot Weather Concreting’, as per ACI 305-5.13.The following support facilities are adopted & considered to reduce the temperature of fresh concrete. The temperature of fresh mixed concrete should not exceed 32 degrees and we shall take all necessary precaution to ensure that this limit is not exceeded. Concrete with a temperature less than 32 degrees will be produced by combinations of the following methods. The support facilities (erected on the plant) are as follows:


  • Shading aggregates.
  •  Aggregate Washing plant.
  • Moistening of aggregate with portable water.
  • Use of cement with a low temperature i.e. less than 77º C.
  • Water Chiller Plant
  • Ice Plant
  • Shading of mixing area.
  • Use of white paints on cement silos, Micro-silica silos.
  • Use of thermocol insulation in water pipeline & water storage tanks.

As part of these precautions, extra efforts have been made to keep the concrete temperature as low as possible within considerable limits. For maximum effectiveness, the ice should not be allowed to melt before it is placed in the central mixer and in contact with other raw materials but it should melt completely prior to the completion of mixing of the concrete. All procedures mentioned above are implemented.
